An eclipse and the Hilltop Street Fair!

I went to Seattle today do some shopping at Mandy Greer and Sarah Meranda's sale at The Silver Studio.  Mandy's studio is wonderful - great lighting with glass blocks and an overhead door with lots of windows - and a little wood burning stove, too!

My friend Sarah brought the enamel owl earrings I admired so much and there I am wearing them!  She is so very clever!

We all swapped stories and ideas and I learned so much from these two fantastic ladies.

Traffic was terrible on the way to Seattle - it very often is.  But, having grown up there, I left I-5 and struck off "across country".  I only turned the wrong way once - not bad given that the GPS is on the motorcycle!  The trip home was much more relaxed - south along Lake Washington Boulevard, through lovely Renton, alongside the Puyallup River and then home.  The car enjoyed the exercise!
