"Las Sobras" - The Leftovers

These pea sized polymer beads are made from trimmings from other beads  - in this case the red and blue Talhakimt pendants that I made for a commission from Hungary.

The clay is rolled out to a uniform thickness, cut into little circles, rolled into balls, pierced, cured, and buffed.  While each bead is slightly different from all the others they are also very similar.

Average size: 6 x 9 mm.  Average weight: .4 gm.
